Week 20 - ITF (W25) Obidos, Portugal Carpet

With Amanda adventurously venturing out on to - for her - the lightning quickness of carpet, might there be a chance we could see her awarded and actually take up some grass court WC opportunities this year?

Exactly my speculation on another thread (Entries Week 22)  smile Also because the next tournament she is entered into, even though currently still down the alt list, is a Spanish hard court event in that week 22.

Apparently Em's match was officially the longest match of 2019 so far - at 3hours 22mins beating the 3hours 17mins match between Martic and Mladenovich in Istanbul

Great comeback, *5-3. Hopefully shades of Harriet yesterday who recovered from 0-3* extremely well.

Mandy takes the match on her second match point 6-3 6-1.
That's really going to boost her ranking.

Mandy has indeed pulled off a Harriet from yesterday. Lost the first 3 games, then won 12 of the next 13

A good performance, much better than I expected, especially after the first few games!

Up to about 670 now week after next. Is now on 17 pts, same as Victoria Allen.
