Main draw and doubles draw are out. I'll post the doubles once ITF lets me access the rankings.

SOme good and some nasty spots in the singles draw for the qualifiers.

Amanda's opponents will be mighty glad when she gets her ranking too.

The Finnish forum board must have groaned when their 11th seed was drawn against her. She's a real ringer, especially on clay.

Noel has won her last 7 matches against Brits, the last Brit to beat her? Amanda. Hopefully a repeat here.

You'd like to think Vic would have a good chance to get through her match.

Yes, I'd expect both Vic and Emily to get through... and I'm really holding thumbs for Mandy that she holds her serve together well enough. Gotta get that ranking back now. Noel did win her match today very easily though.

Beth is the only Brit this week directly into the MD. Not a great draw though, she plays Radwanska first up, who was the losing finalist last week, but did retire in the final too, so Beth's main chance is that she is not fully fit now.

R32: Sarah Beth GREY (GBR) 463 vs Urszula RADWANSKA (POL) [5] 300 (CH:29 Oct 12)

Vic drops the first set 4-6. All relatively easy service games bar one from Vic, who was broken to 40. She only dropped 2 points combined in her 4 holds, but hasn't been past 30 herself on the opponents serve. MTB at best.

Wow, second set is really going down the tube for Vic. I'm surprised, Fonte may be a promising youngster, but so is Victoria and she's a year older. After her recent successes on the UK hard indoor courts, I thought Vic was ready to flourish, but it seems she still has lessons to learn in terms of adapting to different surfaces and situations.

That outdoor carpet is a very different surface to indoor hard court and takes some getting used to. I have noticed some surprising results in Obidos over the last couple of years.
