Fantastic news, and now definitely seeded for Paris. There's certainly unseeded players that can trouble her, and she's lost to a number of unseeded players in the recent past when she was a seed at slams as Rosamund pointed out the other day, but it must be a huge relief knowing that she now can't face the likes of Bertens, Kvitova, Halep, Ka Pliskova and co until at least the 3rd round.
Well done Jo.

Jo and Kyle are now both live 31 in world, no has chance to become top brit.
Which makes me ask questions has she ever been top brit before ie when Andy was up there was no ahead of him at any stage ?
Yes, quite a lot.
e.g. a 23 week period consecutively from 6th November, 2017 through 9th April, 2018 Johanna was both our WTA #1, and higher ranked than our ATP #1's, Andy or Kyle, during that entire period - thus top ranked Brit during at least, but not limited to, that span
