A win would put Jo on 1550 points, the same as Sasnovich who is currently ranked 30th, not sure who would be 30 and 31 or how that works, but she'd be very likely to be seeded in Paris. Vondrousova would of course then be out of the picture and Sakkari would have to beat Kvitova and Mladenovic. Mladenovic would have to win the title to pip Jo, and Azarenka would have to get to the final.
There are a few injury doubts too...Andreescu, Vekic and Wozniacki being the main ones.

That's just what I was thinking with injured players. And one has lost track of the number of players who have retired during matches in Rome. Some of these would be seeded in Paris. One hopes that nobody is in the draw when they are not fit to play.

Sasnovich would be ranked higher, having the greater number of points from GS/PM/P5.

Azarenka only had one singles and one doubles match yesterday, and Muguruza retired in the second set. I would think there's a pretty good chance she'll keep going.
Osaka has withdrawn though, so Bertens is through to the SF.
