Refreshing the Manchester link and seeing the withdrawals, even before the automatics kick in. I noticed Eden withdrew earlier, but Naiktha has also just withdrawn. I've not seen a Nottm Q list, but do you think we can assume they'll have QWCs there, particularly Naiktha?
Eden has had a QWC in Nottingham every year for the last 5 years except for 2015, so that would seem a reasonable assumption. Naiktha got into qualifying as a direct acceptance with a ranking of 365* last year and 470* in 2016, although the main draw is stronger this year. But, yes, it does seem reasonable to think she would be in Nottingham qualifying either by DA or with a WC. I had the same thought earlier and checked to see if Naiktha had wd from all her other ITFs, and she has.
*Ranking in Nottingham week

I hadn't noticed that the LTA's publicity last week for Manchester has Heather as headlining the event, which suggests to me that she isn't going to, or has chosen not to, receive a WC to Nottingham. It says that she is eager to return to the city where half her family are from.
Bit of a surprise. I guess if Katie B isn't fit, the 2 MDWCs would got to Harriet and Katie S. Probably Naiktha/Jodie if a 3rd opened up due to no top 20 WC.
Disappointing, can only assume it's related to the Kucova match. Hopefully she will be fit physically / mentally for Nottingham or Manchester the following week.
I guess the only not too bad thing is that she probably wouldn't have sneaked in to the main draw directly (she'd have needed a lot of Roland Garros withdrawals), so the likely MDWC can go to someone like Maia and we'd still have the same amount in the main draw. That said, if it is Maia benefiting, we'll lose someone who could have won a round or 2 in qualifying.
It's strange, the site must work differently for different people - that's happened a few times before. No Hev or Katie S, so guess they are in Birmingham, think Hev confirmed that anyway. Strong list though and 11 currently in the Wimbledon main draw as it stands, compared to just 3 at Manchester, albeit a week behind. Most of those do have P1, so I'd imagine the majority will hold.
