Quite interesting refreshing the Surbiton women's list and seeing all the withdrawals, Perrin won't be back after reaching the F last year.
I don't think the automatic withdrawals have completely finished as there's still a few players in qualifying who appear in main draws of the European W60 events, so they may end up automatically being withdrawn, unless they have manually withdrawn from the other events and it just hasn't updated yet. It does look like it will still be stronger at this stage than last year as at the moment Babos is last in at 128, whereas a year ago, Boulter had just sneaked in at this stage at 153.
Sad to see Gabi withdraw as RS mentioned on the Strongest Nation thread, as she reached the QF there last year.
Think Heather will struggle to get in looking at that. The likes of Sharapova, Makarova and one or two others might be doubts, but to have 4 withdrawals will be fortunate (from her POV). I suppose if she ended up 1st alt, they could save her WC by going next in, although that won't really help any other Brit.
I guess some will also wait until qualifying has started before withdrawing to make sure they get their 50% R1 cheque which it looks like Boulter is doing at RG, meaning LL spots will open up.
Surbiton initial entry list out and by christ, it's strong. Obviously some of those will withdraw, a lot due to extended RG commitments doubles etc. but only Hev in directly thus far.
Hopefully at least Harriet can get in directly after withdrawals, because 4 MDWCs from Harriet, Swan, Katy, Naiktha and Jodie don't go. Cut off ended at 223 last year, so you'd certainly like to think Harriet would eventually get in and then the MDWCs should sort themselves out.

Is the Manchester itf entry list due tomorrow ?
Yup. Tends to be the weaker of the 3.
Is it, I hadn't realised. Presumably Manchester loses some players to Nottingham qualies and wild cards that doesn't happen with ilkley and Birmingham?

Yeah, there's also the Dutch grass Nottingham equivalent during Manchester to take even more players away ranked in the 50-200 range. Surbiton has a clay 125k event in the same week (and FO 2nd week, in case anyone is still competing there, particularly doubles) and Ilkley competes with Birmingham and Mallorca international, but when you see the Birmingham entry list and how strong it is, many of the type of player involved there wouldn't be too interested in W100s.
Ilkley list out. No Brits in main draw but Alex Ward on the alts list. Thought he had quit?
Maybe just fancying a go at the Wimbledon WC play-offs for which his ranking will still easily make him a direct acceptance, probably a seed ( being ATP ranked at all will easily get players into these at least ), so looking for some competitive match practice earlier that week.
