Bit close for comfort but never mind.

Jay and Evo are currently the bright lights illuminating a rather depressing (at least at the moment) Murray-less GB tennis scene.

Its extremely hot there and I had a feeling Jay would need to get this done in two - Derby lad v experienced local.

And 6-1 is the final score. Good effort though and decent enough week, adding the points up even if they dont impact much this week. Good for securing his game as well, playing lots of clay matches in the US and Asia rather than getting caned by the European dirtballers

For the record:

QF:  (5) Aleksandr Nedovyesov (KAZ) WR 209 defeated (2) Jay Clarke WR 162 by 2-6 7-5 6-1  hmm

I think perhaps we should bear in mind that the Kazakh's CH is 72 & that he has 12 years' more experience than Jay.
