It's 6th seed Italian Jessica Pieri in the QF for Naiktha, who came from a set down to beat a compatriot. They were due to meet in the QF last week, but the unseeded Yerolymos ended up putting them both out en route to the semi final.
I'd guess it will be pretty much 50/50, but it would be great if she could go one better than 2 of her previous Pula showings and reach a first clay semi final of the year (one of those was halted by the weather).
Second set not going much better, held to love in her opening game, but has since lost 5 games in a row. *1-5, so Pieri has won 10 of the last 12 games.
Naiktha's doubles SF ( plus final if she wins that SF ) is now scheduled for Saturday to add to all the Spanish 60K matches due and Freya's Russia 25K doubles final. Oh, plus a certain singles final in Rabat.

Naiktha shoud have new singles and doubles CH after this week
I don't see how. She has 50 pts dropping off doubles on Monday to be bringing in a 29 point counter. So these doubles points won't be a counting counter unless she reaches the final and then it's only a net 1 point gain when they go on, and 20 points less than what she has now.
