Pereira's past accomplishments have been discussed on here and SBG was an 11/4 underdog here despite the higher ranking and seeding, so no surprise she lost, but at the moment, these 25k matches (whether main draw or quals) do sort of seem a step too far and her ranking will suffer in the coming weeks as there's a few points to defend.
