Dare we hope?

Well the main obstacle is obviously Bublik who is now back in the top 100, won comfortably the last time they met, and in his last 4 events has won 2 Challengers as well as putting out Evo en route to the Miami L64, hence why I was hoping the British lads would face off.

That said, both have done very well to get this far, so don't really have anything to lose, particularly Liam (being much lower ranked and playing a superior player), and it would be absolutely superb if they could meet in the final.

Just been one break of serve since the opening set ( 2 breaks apiece in that ), and was the wrong way.

On serve in the final set.

7-6(5) 3-6 2-1*

Wardy just saved 2 BPs at 4-4 *15-40. Could be huge.

Got to 6-2, but 4 MPs have come and gone. *6-6 at the next change over, come on Wardy.

Now Role DF on his first MP, tense. 7-7*

Ouch that will hurt. Rola got a stone dead net cord at either 2-6 or 3-6 down in the final set tiebreak and James was never the same. A shame, it looked like he had that one.

Wards unfortunately lost his head after the net cord and wasnt surprised in the slightest when the racket went.

In better news Liam is a set to the food, more due to Bublik self imploding more than anything. I actually think he might be ill!
