 Mektic is in pairs in 7th and 8th in race having won 2 of the 3 masters. Hed be top of race if he added those points together. Man to watch. Along with koolhof.

I see that their conquerors, Roberto Carballés & Feliciano López, are wild cards, who went on to despatch the top seeds, Kubot & Melo, by 3 & 5 in their quarter-final match!  Jamie & Bruno are now the highest ranked seeds left in the competition.

Joe and partner are about to start their match in the QF, if they win (which will be tough) they get to play Jamie and Bruno in the semis I think

They first served for it at 5-3.

Thats a good win for Joe and Raven. And with it Joe jumps over his usual partner, Rajeev Ram, and into the top 20. Presumably a text of congrats will be on its way from Rajeev to Joe!

Rajeev and Joe are due back together at Madrid, not sure what their respective plans are at Estoril/Munich next week?

I cant recall if Joe has played Jamie before I have a feeling he may have and won, but cant find the details...

Tokyo last Autumn 

It was in the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 event & Joe & his Japanese playing partner, Yatsutaka Uchiyama, wild cards, beat Jamie & Bruno, the second seeds, by 7-6(4) 4-6 [10-3].  They lost out to the third seeds, Klaasen ( wink ) & Michael Venus, in the semis by 6-4 6-7(2) [16-18].
