Jay is mixing this up well and not letting Thompson get into any rhythm in the rallies, following a shoulder height shot with a low slice. Gets him a break in the final set, 2-1 up.

The drop shot at break point down was just super - Jordan could see it coming and there was nothing he could do about it.

The volley on (the final) game point was pretty good too

Jay's playing so well. Great use of drop shot to save break point and then pushing Thompson back when he tried to come in and attack.

5-1 Thompson trying to play Jay at his own game by introducing more variety but clever use of slice means Thomson netted a couple of times under pressure.

Thomson then serves and wins game fairly easily, 5-2 Jay to serve for the match.
