She has had some tricky opponents recently, but she's now lost her last 9 sets and has never been past 4 games in that time.

 

Recovered from 0-2* second set to 2-2*.

Anyone know if any 2nd round matches happened? Last I heard, all round 1 matches were complete and they were hoping to complete round 2 and then call it a day.

How do points work in this case? Do all just get second round points? I recall on the old Grand Prix circuit, Connors and Vilas reached 5-5 all first set in Monte Carlo final, 1981, and ended up being cancelled due to rain. They split the prizemoney between winner and RU prize, but points awarded where just RU status and record books show them as joint runners up.

They receive losers prize money and points for the round reached when it was cancelled - in this case QF.

I think that's poor. Should get peizemoney to recompense being on site all week imo ie share the qf, sf, ru and w money 8 ways
