No play before 5 pm (4 pm BST) today.

In this combined tournament all the women's L32 matches and most of the men's L32 matches are outstanding and now scheduled beyond that time today. Hope the weather improves and they have lights!

It's mean but you can't help it - a little bit of you looks out the window, at the glorious sunshine here, and thinks: "what, it's raining in Italy? SHAME !"

All matches moved to tomorrow with MTB instead of 3rd set. But every forecast I've looked except the beeb has worse weather tomorrow than today.

Edit: Fran doesn't seem to be having much luck with the weather this year.

They don't seem to have any indoor courts here either. Even Obidos has managed to get going this week on its slow to dry carpet, and if desperate they is an indoor facility they can access there.

Wow, there is just one court so far - Court 8 - which actually has a first round match starting upon it!

That one is showing as interrupted - I think that is carried over from yesterday.

I'm pretty sure the score was 1-1 when I looked first thing this morning

Play abandoned for the third day running. At least one match managed almost 3 games today. It bring back memories of when I was stranded in Pula, Sardinia for a week at this time of year because of the volcanic ash cloud a few years ago.

Interesting thing is when you look where SM di Pula is, on the southern tip of Sardinia, and then where Tabarka is on the northern Tunisian coast, they are directly opposite each other and the (sea) distance between them is not that great. But in Tabarka, although they've had rain, they've been able to reach the singles SFs there, whilst in Pula, they're still waiting to play the first round matches...

That match score of 1-1 was where it was interrupted on Wednesday, no play at all yesterday or today.

Amazingly you could have played all week on Skye - not a breath of wind and warm sun!
