I heard Talksport wondering about the Tara odds ( at least she made news quite widely ) but deciding that you wouldn't have in match betting on matches at that level. Hmm.
They obviously don't read this site then
Yeah, she's had a lot of (good) publicity and featured in loads of articles nationally and it's nice that a 25k event in Britain has an unusual talking point. You see the odd 'match fixing' remark on social media - they must have done a hell of a job with that MP net cord, ha.
Starting to feel a bit sorry for Laura here. Hope it's not a complete hammering.
Re Tara, I saw a fair bit of Morderger against Cadar (who lost 0-6 0-6 to Vic last week) yesterday and she won the first set on the tie break but was probably the 2nd best player in the set - that is the first time I've seen her mind, so probably harsh making a judgement on that, but she did seem an ideal 2nd round opponent, but then again, bar Ponchet and maybe one or two other select matches, Tara has largely been poor for a while, so maybe not really a surprise she is struggling a bit. However, whatever happens in the next 30 mins or so, she'll know that she'll have comeback from far worse situations, haha.
Cracking hold from Vic, was 15-40 when I last checked, but came through to lead 4-1*. You can catch snippets of her match on the Dart stream and I saw her smash a winner.

Poor Laura, 0-6. I was wondering if the MTO might have been more mental than physical - she certainly won't want to lose 0-6 0-6 or equivalent, but then 4 matches in 3 days is quite a lot for someone coming back and I saw her leave a shot and assumed it had gone out, but then Dart was awarded the point, so perhaps is struggling.
Couldn't see too well on the little screen but Laura was lying down on her front on a towel, having her back? hip? something ? massaged and manipulated.
So Tara is the only women's single's match (not just GB) being streamed from now on and they'll have 4 men's. Jodie's court was meant to be streamed, but I've tried to watch a bit of Maja Chwalinska's match (on same court) but it says it hasn't started on the ITF stream site (which it has) and it's not on Bet365 either - that's a massive shame, going with a 2:4 ratio in the first place when the women's event is more important in terms of points and respective level.
