Some potentially interesting second round matches in the draw as well, but let's not count our chickens ...........

Yeah Noel and Molinaro look the two biggest obstacles in those 2 matches which I assume you were referring to. Shame it couldn't have been Sam drawing Naomi to guarantee one all GB match in the next round, as you'd probably expect Paar to beat Sam anyway, given how she couldn't manage it last week when she had a lot going for her (much less rest for Paar, MTB which would usually favour the supposed lesser player etc.)

And don't forget Savinykh, also in the way of the third of the matches that I'm not going to mention  wink

I'd probably say:

Dart 65-35
Laura 80-20
Ella 20-80
Moore 30-70
Maia (if reasonably fit) 45-55
Sam 35-65
Naomi 55-45 (despite last week)
Jodie 90-10
Victoria - can't really assess.

Hopefully get at least 5 of those through. The 3 that I think should be favourites and then a couple of the more 50/50 looking matches.

Haha, completely missed that one. Unfortunately there looks a couple of obstacles in the way of that happening.

And in the doubles..........

Plenty of Brits involved - seven pairs + two halves. Inevitably they are bunched together. But great to see Olivia in the draw again, with Sam this time as Freya is partnering Valeria again

Order of play out for tomorrow.

Ella, Maia and Tara playing tomorrow with the other 5 + qualifiers playing on the Wednesday. Looks like they've purposefully given Jodie an extra day off.

Jodie is playing doubles though tomorrow, again with Lissey.

In a rematch of the Bolton final.

Hartono should probably be fine for Laura. Doesn't look like she's played since September and it's largely been at the 15k level. Quite a lot of winning at the lower level, but lost to the likes of Minnen, Bondar etc. Don't think Laura can complain, although it's potentially Dart in R2. Still, for Laura to come through quals (tick) and potentially win a match in the main draw will be progress.

Ah, that's a shame to potentially face Harriet in the next round. There are some winnable second round matches there for Laura and a QF would have secured a ranking for the rest of the year. Still, as said, let's not get ahead of ourselves. One round at a time.

Today's streams feature Ella, Maia and Tara in singles and Harriet v Ola & Kasia in the doubles

No sign of Fran Stephenson though, paulisi? Shame, would have nice to 'see' her again. Wish her well, whatever's she doing.

Any idea why livescores has the match showing as already played, and won?

W25 Sunderland, GBR

3

6
6

Presumably left over from Bolton's final?

A presage of things to come????

I assume she has just won 6-3.  My livestream froze while she was at 40-15.biggrin

Should give her confidence; once she won that first game she celebrated and then played much better.

Obviously a sign of confidence to spot the opponent an 11-0 start in a game of first to 12.
