Week 15 - ATP 250 - Fayez Sarofim & Co US Men's Clay Court Championship - Houston, TX, USA (clay)

First week on clay for most, not surprising no form or solidity and thus results all over place. Houston clay is also not so slow either historically.

Bad week for Britain sadly

Jeepers!  The 22-year-old Colombian qualifier, Daniel Elahi (WR 241), has just beaten the Aussie seventh seed, Jordan Thompson (WR 67), in three sets to reach the semi-final, having despatched Paolo Lorenzi (WR 108) & the top seed, Steve Johnson (WR 39), en route...  It will be interesting to see how he fares against Casper Ruud after the Querrey vs Garín semi-final.

Well, this IS clay so no surprise to see 2 South Americans in the final even if they aren't household names
