From what I can see, if Cam manages to win his last 16 match (opponent still tbd) then he will go up above his current career high and to the mid 40's. A good run here and elsewhere on clay and he may even be pushing the boundaries for an FO seeding or possibly at Wimbledon - realise he has to close 25 places or so but the points around him are in fact quite tight and Houston provides an opportunity for sure.
Of course he will now lose first match up, sorry folks
The Skupski Bros are on Court 3 second match up early evening our time, think Klahn and Querrey could be a tough ask.
Cam not scheduled to open his tournament until tomorrow, Thursday! Wow, welcome to being a top 4 seed in a 28 draw event , Cam. Opponent is Tipsarevic , hope he can win that one. Querrey or Garcia-Lopez after that and then Chardy possibly in the semis.
The sooner 'Tipsy' retires, the better, IMO. I think he is well known for some of his, shall we say 'old-fashioned' views. But for me I took against him when watching him at Wimbledon. His behaviour to the ball boys was shocking, strutting about and screaming at them if they didn't proffer his sweaty towel in the way he demanded which had to be draped over their two outstretched arms.
Barely a seed left in most of the ATP/WTA events this week. More than likely be players ranked around 50-100 that win them all. Call me cynical but maybe saving themselves for the bigger tourneys?
