The TPE girls were excellent and one should win the tournament.
There was an incident in Tara's doubles, where Tara got what she believed was a bad call on deciding point. Tara weren't happy and made her feelings known and then had a go at Naomi for not asking for the point to be awarded. There were then several exchanges of words over the next few minutes and it became quite embarrassing.
Alice played OK, but never really looked like winning once Diana cut out the errors.
Sasha was outplayed.
Poor Laura, I wonder if that heel is bothering her that paulisi mentioned earlier? She has gone from 5-2 to 6-7(2) 0-4 in no time, with most the games seemingly comfortable. I'm not particularly neutral in that match - I'll wish Tara well in the main draw, but was certainly wanting Laura to come through. I suppose at least Laura did ensure a GB main draw entry with her prior win, but points wise, she'll get no credit for it.
Laura posted a pic, showing a raw patch on her heel the size of a 50p piece
Malmqvist takes the set on her 5th set point after a long game (Jodie also had a BP), but from seemingly comfortable after the first set and the start of the 2nd (LM held to 40, JB to love in their first games), it's now gone into a decider. 6-1 3-6 *0-0.
Emma *0-2 and you can just about see a bit of Jodie's match on the stream with it being the next court. She held and is 30-30 on the Swede's first service game.
