Not sure what the schedule is given they are playing catch up. Top seed GGP should follow on to that (Eden) court soon, but Bolkvadze is currently 1-0* up in the deciding set of her QF match and Katy is due on that court once finished. I assume they'll want to play the semi finals today?
Bolkvadze is now a break up in her match over the 2nd (Eden plays the winner).
I suppose the most logical way, given its 3.40 in Portugal and Katy is yet to get on, would be to try and get the SFs on around 11/12 tomorrow and then the final after suitable rest, unless they extent it into Monday and clash with the start of next week - maybe Eden could still get an SE if she plays and loses her SF tomorrow?
7-5 6-2. What a win. That's her 2nd best career win by ranking.
What a lovely run of results for Eden, to come through qualis and then put out the 4th and 8th seeds (and counting) - and still be in the doubles
Yep, surprising me, especially as Pemra has had a fair bit of success in Obidos these past 12 months with a W and F, oh and there was also the scoreline that me and Michael D were wanting to ignore - Eden lost 0-6 0-6 the last time they played about 6 months ago, but as Michael said, Eden is playing a lot better now.
Mariam B (7) beat the 2nd seed so that's who Eden faces in the semi final and also means Katy should be on for her QF in the next 10 mins or so.
