Two fantastic wins and a brilliant comeback from Eden - 10 points in the bank for her so far this week Eden likely to have Pemra Ozgen next but not yet finalised.

If it is indeed Ozgen, it would probably be for the best if you didn't show her last meeting with Eden . She is a bit of a carpet queen as well, so that would bode worse, but a brilliant week and anything else is a bonus. Pemra has just been broken as well, so hopefully some life in her match yet.

Yes, I've just seen that Shrewsbury score too from last year Ace! All I can say is that Eden seems to be playing better than that at the moment
My oh my. What a win for Eden and what a superb day at 25k level - can't remember a time when we've had such a positive day of constant excellent wins. If you put a £1 4 fold accumulator of Jodie, Emma, Eden and Katy all to win, you would have returned £120, that's 119/1, unbelievable - 4 GB non seeds have the quarter finals.
If Naiktha was thinking of switching, she may have second thoughts now...haha.
Yes, a great 25k for GB women for once this year!
Just having a look at some of the implications of this. Of course, none are too great as we are now still only at QF level. However week of 15/4, Eden is now level on points with Beth in that GB #11 position. Emma is currently in the mid 540s - interesting this is still only her 3rd 25k tournament, and of those 3, she has reached 1 SF, 1 QF (so far) and 1 R16. That's not a bad early record.
Of the higher ranked players, Jodie is currently moving closer to Maia - just 12 points separating them now, whilst Katy D, who will fall outside the top 300 next week, will at least move back inside it the week after.
Beth and Eden's match was suspended at 4-3 in the first, and is scheduled to complete tomorrow not before 12:00, with the semi-final scheduled to follow (after rest)
Eden singles QF, 10.30 am Eden & Beth doubles QF completion, after rest, not before noon Hopefully Eden & Beth doubles SF vs Emily+, after rest, time TBA
Katy's singles QF is second on Court 2, not before 11.30 am
Play has actually started in Obidos, just 30 minutes later than scheduled.
Eden broken to love in the opening game, but came close to breaking straight back, but couldn't take any of 5 break points.
