Katy and Eden both follow the opening matches which started at 10am. Both are betting underdogs in their respective matches, Katy (6/4), Eden (3/1) so will have their work cut out to go further. Eden you would expect given she is playing a seed who pushed Dart so close last week. Would be great to get one (at least) going further.

Katy takes the first set 7-6(4). Quite a battle though, just the one break each, but plenty of long games. 102 points in the set.

Good to see Katy come through the 2nd set much more easily. Good win 7-6(4) 6-2

6th seed Stefcova next.

Good going Eden, I kind of assumed she would go on to lose at 3-4* second set, but that's a great recovery.

Yes, I see that Eden broke to 15 at 4-5* in set 2 to stay in it.

She fought back from *0-40 in winning a 14 point game 2 of set 3. No messing in her next service game, held to love.

3-1*

Eden had 2 MPs at 40-15*, but Bucsa has just held. Still in a very good position though at *5-2 - hopefully she sees it out as soon as possible.

My oh my. What a win for Eden and what a superb day at 25k level - can't remember a time when we've had such a positive day of constant excellent wins. If you put a £1 4 fold accumulator of Jodie, Emma, Eden and Katy all to win, you would have returned £120, that's 119/1, unbelievable - 4 GB non seeds have the quarter finals.

If Naiktha was thinking of switching, she may have second thoughts now...haha.
