They've beaten Chorley twice this season and still have to play them again in the league to which they were relegated at the end of the 2012-13 season. Regarding the decline-two words only apply-Sale Sharks.
Yeah, I was having a look at the remaining fixtures and noticed that match, so it is technically still in Stockport's hands, although with more points on the board, less games to play and that crunch match at home where their record is better than SC's away record, you'd rather be in Chorley's position.
I was actually wanting Spennymoor to win it. I know they have a bigger budget than they really should, but prior to their home match with Stockport, I'm pretty sure it was in their hands, but they've only collected 2 points from their 5 matches in March so it's definitely playoffs for them.
Make that 5 in a row. Takes the 2nd set 6-2 so a second successive MTB for her. You'd like to think she would have the momentum going into it, but then the first tie break went south quickly.
Think the best she had the MTB was *5-7, but lost the next point. Shame because that's a really close defeat, losing a TB and then winning the 2nd set convincingly. Still, at least she does get something for her efforts earlier and something to build on during the Bolton-Sunderland double.
