Different websites obviously show different things . The one I copied from now seems to have vanished. Sadly the only thing that won't change is the 9-11.
And she's not even Stockport's finest at the moment. They are playing at Edgeley Park and hopefully now they are out of the tinpot trophy ,they can now concentrate back on winning promotion from the league.
Speaking of decline, there's has got to be even worse than Naomi's. I remember as a lad growing up when they were flying high in the 2nd tier one year and got to the latter stages of one of the 2 cup comps, losing to Middlesbrough if I remember correctly, and here they are in their 3rd or 4th season in the 6th tier. Chorley look to have got their act sorted again, so may well end up being the playoffs and that's just a lottery.
I was looking at the odds last night and saw Fett 2/7 and SBG 5/2 and was thinking that's far too short for SBG, but have since saw they have changed to 1/9 vs 5/1 which is probably more of a fair reflection. Not sure if it was a palpable error (mistake) last night or if relatively significant money went on Fett to force the change?
Naomi's is pretty much 50/50, 4/6 (NB) vs 11/10, despite the Italian being one of the lowest ranked in the Q draw. I suppose, if the rankings were 10 months instead of 12, then they would be a pretty similar ranking unfortunately.
Eden did hold, but the Latvian has as well - *5-3.
First set in the bag for Eden, 6-3.
I never normally bet on Naomi (sorry, Stockport's finest) but, flush from a nice little 50p flutter on Eden, I have invested 20p on Naomi - surely she's got a better chance of winning this match than those odds suggest????
I was rather worried when I saw this. I didn't see how it could end well for anyone! Best save the 20p next time I think.
Hoot's scores are correct there. I was following at the time but then had to participate in a work skype call. Naomi was 7-4 and then 9-8 up - just the one MP - and then at 9-9 she served a DF to go 9-10 down and lost the next point. I really hope Naomi ties up a media contract for the grass court season, it will be by far her best option for earning this year, and I'd certainly like to see her succeed at something, but I don't believe it's going to be on the tennis court any longer.
QR1: Eden SILVA (GBR) 466 beat Diana MARCINKEVICA (LAT) [q2] 268 (CH:196 April 14) 6-3 2-6 10-4
QR1: Naomi BROADY (GBR) [q1] 266 lost to Cristiana FERRANDO (ITA) 470 (CH:268 Aug 17) 4-6 6-3 9-11
QR1: Sarah Beth GREY (GBR) 446 lost to Jana FETT (CRO) 269 (CH:97 Oct 17) 1-6 1-6
FQR: Eden SILVA (GBR) 466 vs Julie GERVAIS (FRA) [q10] 403=CH
Wow, Fett after her 6-1 6-1 win earlier is now 0-6 0-1 against Albie. She didn't even manage to get to 40 once in that first set, winning only 7 points.
Edit - complete contrast now, Fett has won 5 games in a row and is 2 points from taking it into a MTB.

Hmm, on paper it looks one of the easier ones as Minnen only sneaked in due to high profile withdrawals like Hercog and Wickmayer, who both probably did better than they were expecting in Miami, amongst others, but she's obviously started the year very well as we know fine well - beating Boulter en route to reaching WTA Hobart QF and, as you say, Gabi on her way to winning the 25k title in Japan the other week. She's in the top 100 in the race as a result, so might actually be the worst draw of all the non seeds.

My list of scores was taken directly off the momentum graph on the ITF live scores. It seems both sets of scores are missing one point somewhere, I was sure it was the last.
Irrelevant anyway - it was still 9-11 and a QR1 loss !

I think it's the first point the a. I've been fooled by that before. The first dot on the start line is a point, since that dot is not at the mid-point, but up or down from the mid-point by 1. And the first point went to Ferrando, you'll see that first dot is just above her name.

They've beaten Chorley twice this season and still have to play them again in the league to which they were relegated at the end of the 2012-13 season. Regarding the decline-two words only apply-Sale Sharks.
