Padel is doing well.

Last week, the LTA announced that British Padel was being brought under its umbrella.

Today, Andy Murray has announced he is investing in Game4Padel - http://www.andymurray.com/news/andy-murray-invests-in-game4padel-to-help-grow-the-sport-of-padel-in-the-uk/

I can't decide if Padel represents a threat to tennis participation figures? I've read a few articles and people in Spain seem to say it doesn't impact negatively, but if there's no topspin can playing padel be good for your tennis game?

Roger played a lot of squash as a teenager. Don't think it killed his tennis game smile

I see that the International Padel Federation filed a court of arbitration case against the ITF yesterday, accusing the ITF (effectively) of trying to muscle in on Padel tennis, and steal the governing rights away from the existing federation.

Mike Dickson reporting that this failed to pass the itf member states vote and so wont happen , anytime soon at least . Good. Let Padel organise their own tours, etc, they dont need tennis muscling in.
