Every GB woman from GB ranked #4 to #20 entered in 25Ks apart from Gabi.

Someone said that she does seem to go missing in Aprils.

I also see that #21 Emily Appleton not involved over the 2 weeks when GB 25Ks on.

Yeah, Emily withdrew herself from Sunderland 25k (her priority 1), where she would have been one of the 5 IRs, to stay a bit longer in Cancun. She's 2nd highest ranked there in the acceptance list

Thanks. I should have noticed her down for Cancun.

Re Gabi, I see that she ( along with Maia ) is on the alternates list for the USA 80K in week 16.

Yeah, noticed that as well. They are quite well down, Maia especially and with the limited amount of events that week and most having it as their P1, I can't see either getting in. There are a string of 4 big US clay ITFs in a row, so if they are trying to make a trip of it, they might have more joy when there's more competition for events.

29th April is the start of a run of 80/60ks in Japan which Gabi played last year and expect her to try and get into those rather than stay in the US.

Jay Clarke has made Houston qualifying (although he is playing in Asia the week after so may not be there)

I'm disappointed to see Heather has withdrawn from Istanbul.

Just to update re Sunderland men, I see that we now have three in the MD thanks the ITF reserved places: Hoyt, McHugh, Penniston

Glad to see that, even if the system sucks, at least some of our guys have taken advantage of it - strange that ITF 156 and 163 gets you in, though.

Ah, I had been watching that after her injury withdrawal from Monterrey and had been pleased when she was still on the list.

Hope not too serious, though Fed Cup ( where she should be a doubles consideration if fit )?

Main draw for Italy where Fran Jones and our returned Brit, Naiktha Bains, are playing, looks like it will only happen Tuesday pm, since MD play only starts on Wed. Tomorrow sees women's and men's FQR matches, then the start of Men's first round singles and doubles matches.
