Well, Dan is never going to win the choirboy of tennis award. So you just have to go with a flow a bit with him....
But tomorrow's another day. Maybe he'll be feeling a bit sunnier.... (and maybe he did get a real 'mare from the umpire and linespeople and his black mood was quite warranted)
True this. It's now in the Telegraph.
With a whole story and no mention of dr*gs! Even the press are moving on.
Good stuff from cam - as mentioned he has beaten Jordan twice before and both on US hardcourts, I think Cam should be confident of seeing this one through. A win would take him above Berretini and back into the top 50 live rankings. Come on Cam!
He really did go to pieces in the third set. But I thought any moment hes going to wake up and turn this round like I saw him do in so many challenger matches I watched a year or so back.

Not entirely: Stu Fraser in his report in today's Times, refers to his having "served a one-year ban up to last April for cocaine use" & adds that he will be fined for yesterday's, er, contre-temps. That said, he does at least go on to enter a plea in mitigation:
Evans logged a complaint about the level of officiating. "The umpire was arrogant," he told reporters. "It was a poor, poor match for officiating. It was an unflowing match because there were missed calls all the time and he never thought it was wrong. He told me he thought it was a good match when it was obvious it wasn't. He thinks he is right and I get fined. I said an f-bomb in the far corner and hit some water bottles over. It's not a massive deal. It was tough. It was a rubbish day."
While it is no excuse for his behaviour, Evans had a valid point about the poor quality of the line-calling. It is understood that some local line judges had been drafted in at short notice.
"I know I wasn't the only guy who had an argument today," Evans said. "There was a pretty decent conversation going on in the locker room before I went on court. But it's done now. It was not the reason I lost the match."
Apologies if the same ground is covered in the other reports mentioned: I haven't had time to read them. At least Dan was honest enough to acknowledge that the quality of the officiating wasn't why he lost the match.
