Which tour do you follow most?

Much prefer the WTA tour, both generally and in terms of British players. Just hope we can get a few more inside that top 100 and regular features in 250 type events.

Not sure when to call the result but it is 7-4 women's to men's and then 6 votes on some form of liking everything equally.

Which I think I sort of expected, I tend to think those preferring the women's side get into a lot more depth and statistical openness for want of a better phrase, not all but on the whole. I think forums like tennis forum versus men's tennis forum reflect that as well.

Good stuff, coming as a definite men's game preferrer!

This result actually surprises me. I thought the majority on here followed the men's tour.

I follow the women's tour most, but I thought that was just because I was a woman, and I don't normally have streaming, so it's mostly stats. I must admit I prefer to watch the men's game in most cases. I agree that there is more depth and hope for our future in the women's game than the mens at the moment. I was hopeful about jay, but nothing exiting seems to have happened there.

It would have been good to have the option of Men's ITF Tour - the good old fashioned Futures as they were called. In many ways, I follow that as much as the ATP Tour but as it wasn't an option, I selected ATP.

I think to be honest I meant men's tennis v women's tennis as a whole , and probably by mentioning atp and wta misled a little, but I guess generally it got the job done !

I put equally men's and women's tennis which I do think is the case all being equal.

Though at the moment there is overall I'd say more going on with our women. And because I collate British ATP rankings and WTA rankings ( and not ITF rankings* ) I guess that's another reason I am actually following our women more than our men for now.

* I do follow the threads and our results from ITF ranking level tournaments and am certainly interested in quite a number of the players but am certainly not going to spend additional time collating and projecting rankings from that tournament subsection. Trying not to have out of collation, out of mind.

Id say in general since I started taking more of an interest a few years back. Ive probab watched more challenger tennis than anything else.

Certainly there does appear much more analysis of our women than our men from these tending more to the women's section. Some of our men players are perhaps fortunate that they don't receive the same level of analysis and ( sometimes debatable ) conclusions.

Tends to go a bit deeper than he's just a challenger player

Interestingly, the poll has pretty much equalled itself up now, just one vote in it. Like many things, if you give it enough time, the initial loser can come up on the ropes and look relevant again
