Just to amuse myself, and not to upset anyone, I decided to create a sort of mixed doubles ranking list. Given there are only 4 pro events (that I know of) ie the 4 slams each season, I took two seasons worth of performances, so 8 events from FO 17, through to AO19. Like real world rankings, I will drop FO17 with FO19 in a couple of months.
The fields are largely 32 draws give or take, so I awarded points only to QF and better as follows: W - 6 points, RU - 4 points SF - 2 pts QF - 1 pt. Points ties broken by # of events scored in, if still equal then tie not split.
Also, as pairs move around a lot, I didnt rate pairs rather individual lists for men and women. Here are the lists. Hope one or two of you enjoy looking at them , forgive the format!
Mens - Jamie Murray comes out top by a fair way, clearly the top mixed doubles practitioner over past two years. Jay Clarke and Neal Skupski also managed to get into the top 20 courtesy of one result each

In the womens list Dabrowski is a clear top place, Hingis is in the list but will unwind after US Open. Top Brit is Heather Watson in equal 13th place based on her Wimbledon final a couple of years ago, with Harriet Dart in 22nd.
In the mens, jamie will stay top of the list for at least through to end of US Open, although if he doesnt do well in France and Wimbledon, he could drop a lot of points.
In womens, Heather needs a good Wimbledon to stay in top 20, at top Dabrowski could get replaced possibly by Melichar who has best recent record, or Chan or maybe Spears (who has scored lots of times but never really gets to the finals, if she could change that she could challenge)

This is a new version of the womens Mixed Doubles Rankings based on my scoring system above: forgive the alignment issues. Chan has moved over the year from 7th to top courtesy of two Slam wins. Dabrowski drops to 2nd, Hingis drops out altogether and Melichar hangs onto 3rd, just from Mattek-Sands. From a Brits perspective, Harriet Dart appears outside the top 20 courtesy of Wimbledon 2018, Eden Silva ditto from this year . Heather Watson disappears from the list now.

In the mens side of Mixed, Jamie Murray falls to 2nd over the season despite winning this week. Bopanna also falls, but the big gainer is Ivan Dodig courtesy of his partnership with Chan, as they are both top in their respective tables. Neal Skupski, Jay Clarke and Evan Hoyt also feature just outside the top 20 men

Some of you may know I keep my own version of a World Mixed Doubles Rankings - separate lists for men and women - as there is nothing else.
I refined the points a little so that Winner gets 10, RU 6, Semis 3 and QF 1 - no points for last 16 or last 32.
As there are so few events, I use the last two years slams. Here it is updated for AO 2020, with FO 2018 being the first event.
Mens list first as it is most interesting for Brits - Jamie is 2nd and would have gone top if he had won today. Jay and Neal in the lower end of the top 20 and Evan Hoyt is down near the bottom of the list. Dodig and Jamie dominate mixed from the mens side, Croatia as a country totally dominate with 3 of the top 4. Dodig is defending 10 points in FO 2020 from 2018 so Jamie will go into that as the live number 1.

In the ladies side: Chan and Mattek Sands clearly lead with todays winner Krejcikova coming up. Harriet and Eden on the ladies list from a Brits perspective. Again, Chan has 10 points in FO18 to come off at the next slam so Beth is going to be live #1.

As there has been no mixed at slams since last years AO, I havent updated it. i Will do my 2 year rankings as usual so it will be French, Wimbledon and us 2019, Aussie 2020 and aussie 2021. Hopefully by the end of the season we will have 8 events back in the rankings. Lets see where Jamie, Neal and joe get to. French 2018, Wimbledon 2018, is 2018 and Aussie 2019 will drop off my calculations.

Based on the mixed events in the last period starting from French 2019, Wimbledon 2019, USO 2019 and through AO 2020 (there are no other 2020 events) the top womens mixed ranking would be: with 10 points for a win, only Beth Mattek-Sands could overtake her in this AO, if she wins with Jamie. Eden Silva is down in eq. 13th with her Wimbledon performance with Evan Hoyt in 2019
