And now 5-4 and serving for the set, typical Dan. If I was a betting man I would bet dan will be down at mid point of set one and possibly typically lose it to come back and win. And he seems to be playing to the tune this time as well!

Not quite - wins the first set 6-4. However, it got dark so it;s suspended.

Evo has resumed and started Set 2 with a break.

6-4 *1-0

The winner is due to return later to face (8) Taro Daniel in R2 with one men's singles match in between.

Long game - *2-1

Bet365 has Dan at 1.006 and Escobedo at 21.00, or 1/150 and 16/1 if you prefer

Not very exciting match, but very cute tiny ball kids. And also interesting court set-up with permanent shelters for players and Umpires - good idea ?

I noticed that.  Good job it took him only 43 minutes to polish off the second set!  wink  The equivalent to a warm-up session?

I've been attempting to watch the match on livestream.com. I found a stream for today's 2nd set
livestream.com/ATP/events/8596550

Is there a stream of yesterday's 1st set?

Taro has just taken the first set 6-4. Broke at 1-1 and both held since.
