The match time rather puts the two hours & 54 minutes it took his opponent in the semi-final to subdue his fellow Colombian, the qualifier, Eduardo Struvay (slumming it in futures?), in his quarter-final in the shade!

What an incredibly close match.

And the Argentinian was KILLING himself out there, absolutely as though his life depended on it.

Not at all surprised that he was JWR 12 a couple of years ago (and he's still only 18 now) - impressive stuff.

But Evan was strong - so good too to see him smashing those second serve returns (including the MP). Really stepping in and going for it.
