Mandy and Anna both have favourable q draws at the bottom of the draw. Mandy is q6 too, so the top ranked player in her quartile.

In Gonesse Mandy has made short work of her QR1 match winning 6-0 6-0 in 56 mins, but she will still need to play a FQR match today too. Anna's QR1 match is only the 4th match scheduled on her court.

Good, if expected initial win for Anna too. SHe actually fell 1-4 down in the second set, then won the last 5 games. FQR opponent still to be decided.

Mandy's second q game has started. However she's going to need to win more than 2/9 first serves so far to win this match. Currently 1-3* down with her serve being hammered.

Mandy's serve recovered a bit, but she didn't recover the break she was still down losing the set 3-6. She needs a better second set now...

Anna P's potential opponents are having a long match, the first set taking 1hr 30 mins. Still to be seen if she plays her FQR this evening, although it is scheduled.

In the MD Ella Taylor will face a qualifier.

In the doubles, both Anna P and Ella are playing.

Mandy certainly took off from 1-2* - looks like she won around 33 points to 14 to sweep through the second set and MTB. Very impressive !
