But Freya has since broken back and held to 15 and 30 respectively. 5-4*

Very topsy turvy match. Freya had SP at 5-4 40-30*, couldn't take it, the Ukrainian held, broke to try and serve it out. Freya had 2 BPs (may have been 3), but it's now 5-6 40-30*

And now a tie break 6-6.

She's just dropped the first set on the tie break. She had *4-3 but then lost the next 3 points, saved a SP but not the second and lost it to 5.

She did actually start this match as the favourite and even now, after dropping the set, it its 4/7 vs 5/4 (Freya). Hopefully she can turn it around.

I know we all have a bit of a Pollyanna tendency on this forum (well, not quite all, certain notable exceptions ....)

But whatever happens, it is great to see Freya playing some strong, powerful, athletic tennis that plays to her strong points.

Looks to be flying now - just reeled off 6 games in a row to take it into a decider.

6-7 6-2 0-0*

Decider has started the same way as the second 0-2*. Freya had GP/BP in both of them.

Lost 6-7(5) 6-2 1-6.

Freya broke back (to love) to get it to *1-2, she saved about 5 BPs in the next game, but was eventually broken and it looks like it just ran away from her.

Yes, that first set TB proved crucial in the end, letting it get away from her when she was 4-2 up, but then losing 4 pts in a row, including a DF. Still a good effort and she added another 2hrs 50 mins to the long matches on Court 6 - 8hrs 30 mins for just 3 matches there!!

I saw a little towards the end of the third set and it seemed to me that Freya was holding the top of her leg, she didn't look comfortable.

But, as said, and assuming it's nothing serious (I might be completely wrong anyway), it's good to see her playing good tennis. With Jodie having changed coaches, I do wonder if Freya's coaching set-up has been tweaked too....

Good stuff.

Freya has 25K doubles final points (30) dropping of on 01/04 so might as well replace them with at least 25K+H final points (36).
