I wish she could. Be great if she could turn things round. It can't be much fun at the moment for her.
I think there was more clearly a coaching issue with Jo.
( I admit I was one who did think Jo could still have success her old way, just doing it better than she has the last year or so. But Michael Joyce was not the man for her and it will be interesting to see if more variety is indeed in time the way to push her back up the rankings ).
I thought Heather doesn't have a coach at the moment. As far as Jo is concerned climbing the rankings might be a bit difficult over a non coaching issue. Because she is no longer getting byes she now has to get 2 wins just to get the ranking points she got for 1 win. Back in 2016 and 2017 she had the advantage of huge ranking points early in the season. She has 120 points to lose from Miami last year so she needs 3 wins just to get the 120 points now. After Miami it is the clay court season which is not going to be productive. (not counting Fed Cup where there will be a lot of pressure of a different sort although no ranking points involved)

Heather is/was being coached by Junior Tennis Coaching, specifically Morgan Phillips and/or Colin Beecher but I don't know if that is still the case or if they travel with her.
