Woeful again. Hibino made enough errors for Heather to get a few games but she had no control or conviction and looked as if the taxi to the airport was booked in advance. Odd that she wasn't in the doubles with several recent partners on site.

I would take a break and think about whats next. Miss a month or two sort out whether she still loves tennis. Lots more things she could do I am sure, but maybe come back refreshed and hit the grass and win a few times?

Find a new Heather or possibly just the old one.

I wish she could. Be great if she could turn things round. It can't be much fun at the moment for her.

I think there was more clearly a coaching issue with Jo.

( I admit I was one who did think Jo could still have success her old way, just doing it better than she has the last year or so. But Michael Joyce was not the man for her and it will be interesting to see if more variety is indeed in time the way to push her back up the rankings ).
