After seeing Struff play in doubles vs Joe and Rajeev twice recently, I nearly made a comment saying I have no idea why he he isn't doing more in singles. Big serve, tees off on his groundstrokes. Bit late now to say it now.
I think struff has kicked around the 50's in rankings for past 12 to 18 months. May be he will focus more and mclachlan and Neal could do more than just miami.
I'm not certain who posted that tweet originally, might have been David Law, Catherine Whittaker or even Grad Matt. BUt worth posting after all the discussions about Sasha
Felix A-A ( after beating Cam and Tsitsipas ) came back from 2 breaks down in the final set ( 1-5*, maybe even *0-5 ) against Nishioka to 5-5* and then 6-6.
He came from 1-3* behind in the TB to be a mini break up at 5-3* but lost the next 4 points.
Nishioka won by 6-7(2) 6-4 7-6(5)
Nishioka now meets LL Kecmanovic ( took the withdrawn 5th seed Anderson's place in the draw ) in the L16.
