My 'Jersey fave', (sorry Scott, you're a dubs man now), was 4-5 down in the first set to the Q2 seed, with Faivre serving for the set, when Stuart turned on the burners, broke back, got to 6-6 and won the TB 7-0 !
Now time to rest up before the next match, against the winner of Dussin/Broville (presumably Dussin but you never know.....)
Whichever way, neither are anywhere near as strong as Faivre so here's hoping.....
It won't be Broville: if it's not Dussin, his next opponent will be another Max, a 15-year-old whose surname is Hillhouse & who appears to have a 17-year-old brother called Alexandre in the draw.
Sorry, SC, you're quite right, got the two 'Max's confused.
Max Hillhouse is certainly far weaker than Broville - although very good for his age - saw him play a money tournament last summer, lovely technique but young and got hammered by the older guy.
And, yes, his older brother, Alex, and his dad, are very well known on the circuit and at the federation (and not completely in a good way......)
NB I once umpired a match for one of the Hillhouse boys and refused to pronounce their name in the French way ('ill'ouse) which I find quite silly and can't say with a straight face.
