Good comeback from 2-4 in the second. Still at #100 in live rankings though.

Dan is a great match player; came from 2-4, 0-40.

Other players could learn a thing or two from him.

Just watched a part of Kyle's match so far but he still looks very rusty. Haven't really seen anything from the fearhand so far and that is unlike Kyle. He has lost the opening set 6-3

Kyle doing better in Set 2; hold/break/hold for 3-0 up.

Oh, maybe I should  dip in on it.  I tried during the first set, but after watching Dan it didn't grab me.

Well done Dan, still at 100 in ranks but another win will see him into low 90's and a title mid 80's or better.

Kyle being much more positive in this set and that suits his game.

Went *4-0 up and then; ACE ACE ACE ACE and it's now 5-0*.

Yes, Dan started the week at WR 105, won his first match to go LR 101, and then his last three wins have accrued him another 40 points but all left him still only at LR 100. This is partly due to the fact that Casper Ruud, who started the week at WR 108 has kept pace with Dan's wins, reaching also the SF in Sao Paulo, and accumulating in the process 90 points against Dan's 45. Yesterday Ruud was LR 99, but today has advanced to LR 94. If Dan win's tomorrow and Ruud doesn't it is Ruud's place he will take, so one further win will have Dan at LR 95 or 94; the actual title as you say really would jump him to the low 80s.

It's a great place he is in right now, though not so good if he still has to play qualifiers at IW too, as he could do with a short break end of this week...

Not quite. Broken after a couple of DFs and a few BP saves.

1-2*
