Great result for Cam.

On another note Ive just watched the Kyrgios Nadal highlights. What an unbelievable match. Whatever you think of Nicks and his antics, he is absolute box office when he plays well. A fantastic match.

Indeed, wasnt Rafa annoyed as well, that underarm serve did not go down well. Love seeing Nick when he is firing, wish it happened more often!

Will Nick and  Dan ever play that doubles together!!??

Neal must be sick of the Bryans now - if Kyle and he get into the IW draw, reckon they will inevitably play the Bryan Bros as well!

Cam going in v Macdonald as a v slight underdog

Attractive looking final 8 in Mexico though.

Kyrgios has Wawrinka next, that will be interesting to watch the body language. Presumably Donna Vekic will give this match a miss and focus on her game with Jo Konta!

Quite interesting that. I do listen to and like the TA podcast and often find the ELO rankings to be a good gauge. In terms of betting odds, Cam is the 4/6 fave, McDonald 6/5, obviously close as well, but the other way.

It's not just the British influence either, because when looking at your Konta-Vekic link, Wang Yafan was 60% to beat Haddad Maia, whereas the bookies have BHA an 8/11 favourite and Yafan 11/10, again very close, but a swing the other way.

Indeed, I thought Nadal was out of order when he made Nick serve again at 6-4 to be honest so there was a bit of both.

After Evo's Indian Wells Challenger L16 win, the live ATP race positions :

30. M. McDonald 312 points
31. D. Evans. 305
32. C. Norrie 301

The McDonald vs Norrie winner will initially rise to #21, these 2 clearly playing for bigger overall points this week.

More significantly a QF win and Cam would go top 50 in the live overall rankings.

6-3, 6-2 win for Cam, fairly emphatic. Real test of any potential top 10 status next in the semi against Zverev or Di Minaur.
