Up to 3rd in the Race, although Joe's individual ranking is not moving much, just playing catch up on gap in front of him
Yes, for now Joe 'just' up 2 to a live ranking 21 and won't go higher this week. If he can be at least WR 22 on Monday that would still though be a further CH.
Guaranteed to be up to #3 in the race on Monday with just the 2 Aussie Open finalist pairs above them. And of course there they came so close to beating Mahut & Herbert. But that's the past, the future is looking very good for this pair.
They could take a good jump in the next month or so if they manage to do well in the upcoming masters in Indian Wells and Miami. Although no idea what either are defending points wise.

Fortunately due to the new ranking system Joe doesn't have the pressure of defending his Canadian futures title. Rajeev's biggest point defence is right at the end winning the Paris Masters last year, wasn't having a great season before that.
In the short term Joe will replace his 18th counter (which will be 45 points) by his Indian Wells points score then last year's St Brieuc Challenger final (48 points) by his Miami score.
In theory these could be two mandatory zeros for R1 exits but hope not! And that it be much on the positive side.
And before that on Monday he will add a net 271 or 471 points
