Yes but McLachlan and Struff have been going very well of late and have already taken out the top seeds in this event. i don't look at odds but imagine they are the favourites to meet Joe and Rajeev in the final.
Up to 3rd in the Race, although Joe's individual ranking is not moving much, just playing catch up on gap in front of him
Yes, for now Joe 'just' up 2 to a live ranking 21 and won't go higher this week. If he can be at least WR 22 on Monday that would still though be a further CH.
Guaranteed to be up to #3 in the race on Monday with just the 2 Aussie Open finalist pairs above them. And of course there they came so close to beating Mahut & Herbert. But that's the past, the future is looking very good for this pair.

The comment was meant to be more of an observation than an expression of certainty that, because they're the only remaining seeds, they have a divine right to the title!
This is turning out to be a positive week on the mens front, at least at the ATP and Challenger level. Jamie M is the only let down and it is not often we say that ( I dont count Neal and Ken as they played the Bryans, although the Bryans lost to the Zverev's I think later on in the week in Mexico)
Federer v tsitsipas in the singles final, going for his 100th title. Should be an interesting days tennis in Dubai.
I watched the Tsitsipas v Monfils - that was a tremendous match. If Monfils had been a tad fitter it would have been his, played phenomenonally (sorry can't spell that).
