Pity. But still Heather showing as going to be up to a doubles CH 39 and the highest British women's doubles ranking since? ( long time ago anyway )

Jo Durie and Anne Hobbs were pretty good at doubles in their day.

Can't think of anyone else who was outstanding.

According to her WTA page, Jo Durie had a doubles CH of 29 in 1989.

Anne Hobbs CH 6 1984.

Thank you for responding.

I seemed to remember that Jo Durie's best doubles years were in the early 80s and looked this up.

She was ranked No. 9 at doubles in 1983.
