The Ukrainian made short work of the second seed, Ryan Shane, earlier, beating him by 3 & 4 in an hour & 19 minutes. Only one seed left in the draw: Sean's & Anton's conqueror, Benjamin Hassan (3).
Very good week for Ryan, but no ATP points to show for it.
and that is a shame. So hard for someone like Ryan to get ATP points now - either in a Challenger or ITF 25 final or 25+H Semi, they will be like gold dust. Although a good week, that probably becomes a lost opportunity. At the lower end of the ranks , where Ryan is, just one point can make a 40 or 50 place rise.
Ryan needs to keep going - needs around 150 more points to make ITF100, which would have just about got him into the main draw here. Making good progress though
