Racism and Discrimination

Disruptive & unpleasant language doesn't just involve swearing: "you can't be serious"!

I'm not a fan, but I'm fed up with the "grunting/ shrieking", too.

... but I'm not sure that fines and/ or point deductions are the way to go.

I thought this should be recorded somewhere on this thread. A story calling out racism and discrimination in the womens game with the retirement of Aiava at the age of 25. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/articles/cpd8x80wjpzo.

Have you attached the right article, Var? The link is about Coco and Keys calling out the actions of ICE in the USA and how Coco comes from a family history of activism, but it doesnt mention Alava or talk about racism in tennis at all? Or maybe Im not reading it properly!

Corrected. I wanted to put Cocos post on the Trump thread so had both to post. I couldnt find the Trump thread though. Anyway the point of Cocos post was what it hints about her future aspirations post tennis career. You feel she has a strong policitically motivated voice and isnt afraid to use it. Powerful young lady.
