Not trying to defend the indefensible, but Sasha wouldn't have got into 25ks at the moment, even if the system hadn't changed. She's still a fair way off.
The 15ks still offer a very good means of showing and judging one's level. If she's in the final four each time, and still has no chance of making the move, then the system is to blame.
But at the moment, it's good experience and a good pathway.

Sasha has been beaten relatively easily by Shelby Talcott, though she did give it a good go in the first set. Even if unseeded, Talcott is an experienced street smart player, however, and this will be good experience for Sasha.
