Week 6 - Challenger ($135,400+H) - RBC Tennis Championships, Dallas, TX, USA (hard)

Must be a record for the number of Evan's in one event over in Dallas!

Tough draws for the two Brits in the last 32, would be amazed but delighted if one of them could get a win

First set Choinski 6-4. Opelka looks awful

Twice now with Choinski serving at 40-0 opelka has just made no attempt to return serve. Very odd

I withdrew for five mins and came back - didn't seem to help.

However, yes, I know what you mean, seagull, there's languid and then there's plain disinterested.

But I think it's just because he's such a serve-bot that he (Opelka) knows there's not much use trying with the return, especially when he's 0-40 down, and a break up.

24 aces no

*3-3, but 15-40, so this could be pivotal.

Jan had a great chance to break at *1-0 in this set but now has been broken.

3-4*

That'll probably be that.

Liam lost in straight sets.
Saw a bit of the match and it was dominated by serve.

Despite the tough draw Jan shows as a true Brit :-

1. Shows signs of an unexpected win to keep us on edge

2. Snnatches defeat from the jaws of victory

3. Easily jinxed by this forum
