Was surprised to see Katie playing another 25k this week if not Glasgow, but she is a high alt in Acapulco (Mex) the following week and then I assume Indian Wells quals the week after so makes more sense. You'd rather get used to the conditions / change of surface in a small 25k than in a much bigger event.

Good to see Dan in ATp qualies. Following week there is a choice of Acapulco ATP (500) or Indian Wells Challenger - I see Cam is first alt for Acapulco main draw, should get in. Presumably Dan will head off from Delray to Indian Wells for the $125k Challenger and then play Indian Wells Masters Series qualies?

Katie Swan and Gabi are both also in the Kyoto W60 MD, so maybe Gabi will be staying in Asia then and not returning to Europe for the German W25. Suggests Katie S may not be in Glasgow either, but in her case suppose it depends whether she decides to travel or not.

I was thinking that Dan will likely choose the Challenger at Indian Wells - plenty of points and $ on offer, nice weather, plenty of practice courts, great facilities and also a good  warm up for Indian Wells proper!

Now only Gabi in the MD, Katy D still in qualifying.

A bit quick there, Michael. Gabi is out of Kyoto.

In the 15 mins or so between when I looked and you looked!

Gabi withdrew from Germany earlier, so now she is not entered in anything this week.

Katy D is now top of the qualifying list in Kyoto.

Not a good time to check lists as the computer does its stuff and withdrawals all round.
Katy now up to 19 in the main draw.

Still hasn't done too much for British entries in Glasgow however. The only player currently in the MD or qualifying is the above mentioned Katy D, so presumably she is likely to be in Kyoto instead.

Good to see Mandy in Antalya qualifying this week, after her mid match withdrawal a couple of weeks ago when she was on the verge of winning the first set. Will be interesting to see if she actually plays.

Unfortunately Amanda withdrew on Monday.

Emilie has also withdrawn from Egypt W15.
