I'm pretty certain Maia will get in directly, Fran is already in plus 4 wildcards. Emma Raducanu is nailed on for one. Jodie should get one based on this week's performance. Robbo may ask for more game time and play qualifying. Ali Collins will get a qualifying wildcard. I see Tara is on the list. Is she deemed too old for wildcards?

I thought SE rules had changes as events start on Mondays.
Not certain if they have changed, but that was taken from the current ITF rulebook. Only available to finalists who would have been in qualifyng the following Monday.
Yes, the SE rules changed as part of the reforms. The changes also include allowing an SE to a 25K if you reach a 15K final and to a 60K if you reach a 25K final.
Can you go and see quals? Actually, quals start on Mondays now don't they? (Not Sunday) What a pain...I don't think I can get a day off work next week.

Usually yes. These events are open from the start of qualifying. Not going this year but have been to the Glasgow events several times and it is quite spectator friendly
Ruse out following her retirements in her last 2 tournaments, so that means Jodie is in Qs as of right. Maia may have an outside chance of sneaking into the main draw and saving a WC - she is 4 out at the moment, there are 2 SE spaces, so not sure if they will be needed and Juvan retired from her match yesterday, so she may well eventually sneak in.
Juvan has withdrawn so that should be Maia in without the need of a WC.
Bit of a shame that it's someone with potential withdrawing as those who do go to watch may be seeing a future top 25 or so player which is more interesting than seeing the average 26-30 year old ranked 250-300, but it obviously does give one of our girls a chance and that WC can be used elsewhere. Plus, Juvan would have been the second seed, so it opens up a bit from that perspective as well. I mentioned it before, but Diatchenko does massively stand out now that she is ranked 82 places above the #2 seed (in the entry list, although things may have slightly changed with recent results).
Poor Juvan's not had the best of times in the UK. Losing all 3 of her Fed Cup group matches (although she did win her relegation rubber via a mid match retirement) and then retired in her Shrewsbury 1st round match and now pulling out of Glasgow.
So, from a GB perspective, unless some of our players pull out for whatever reason:
Fran and Maia in main draw directly
Jodie and Alicia in qualifying directly
Freya 2 off quals, Tara 3 off quals. Those may be able to get in with a few more withdrawals, but it'll be hard for any others below that to get in to quals directly. EWS and Laura at a push, although the latter will probably get a MDWC anyway.
Jodie will likely get a MDWC as well, so that will help those just outside of quals a bit.
Again, would have been nice to have had as many as possible in, like Gabi, Katy Naomi and maybe even Katie S as all of those have played 25k events in 2019, but the field should make it a bit more of a level playing field for some of our others and hopefully we can get more Maia-like runs next week.

ITF acceptance list still showing only 14 in the main draw, 2 SE's and 5 ITF, with no JE. And Maia still showing at Q3. So I hope the SE's and JE aren't needed - wish they'd sort out the JE position at least.

I was expecting to see the WC nominations by now.
I can't see any possibilities for a SE. There's nobody down to at least Alicia left in a competition (apart from Maia, which would be irrelevant now anyway). It was 15, until Juvan pulled out this morning, guess they'll update it soon to officially put Tan in the draw @15.
Not really sure what the criteria is for JE, but with Moliaro already listed for Germany next week and Macon the week after, I assumed that spot wouldn't be taken. Would have been good if someone like Emma, Destinee or Victoria could have taken that to remove any doubt (and one extra withdrew to make way for Maia...)
Anyway, they are dropping like flies. Marcinkevica, who was 14th on the list has now withdrawn, so that should add Maia beyond any shadow of a doubt now. There's also been 2 Qs withdrawn since the last time I checked, so assuming Jodie gets a MDWC, that should put Freya and even Tara into Qs.
JE's have to be requested by the entry deadline and we don't have anyone who is eligible to request a JE - you need a year end top 10 junior ranking for a JE to a women's 25K.
