Here we go then. Yet another 3rd set breaker.

Why don't we save 2 hours and go straight to the tb?

Unless your John Isner or Ivo karlovic, isn't it illegal to play 3 consecutive 3rd set tie breaks ?

I think that's the second time Dan has won fewer points than his opponent.

TBs are random of course just like randomly losing two of them to Fed. Or not ...

If Dan was to win again tomorrow and therefore not be able to make the Montpellier Qualies can he get a SE spot in a challenger next week?

... déjà vu, as our French friends would say?

Overall, I don't think the level or intensity in this match was a patch on the previous two.

But that third set was a real battle. Dan was clearly annoyed with himself for getting broken back straight after he broke at the beginning.
He then was under a lot of pressure as second to serve, and two points from defeat on a couple of occasions. His second serve was getting attacked...
But he focused really well, and did a great job.

I wonder how many pairs of shoes he brought with him? They've been taking a battering....
