RE: No player born in the 90s will ever win a grand slam

The only UK player I can think of would be Taro Keens, but I don't know what she's up to.

That time of year again. Fedal not playing in US open, so can a player born in the 90s win a slam?

Well if Novak doesnt win this, the rest of the top 20 players competing were born in the 90s.

Interesting that its the older players that have neglected not to travel or compete bar Krygios.

Dan Evans has got this, inspired by Mr Henman. And he was born in 1990.

And so it transpires that the L16 has Djoko born 1987, Felix AA 2000 and 14 players born in the 90s, if alas no Evo.

And I'm still not sure that I'd bet on a 90s born winner.

OK. I am magnanimously prepared to concede that this prediction may be erroneous.

So a man born in the 1990s WILL win a Grand Slam title!  Vasek Pospisil is the oldest man left in the draw, but even he was born in 1990...  wink

 Don't forget Felix Auger-Aliassime, born 2000.

I'm aware of that, but I confess I was more interested in rubbing Vandenburg's nose in it after his extravagant claim!  wink

But you simply don't if FAA wins the title. So rather premature. .

I suppose when FAA is the one standing in the way of the 90s born players, as opposed to Fed/Djokovic/Nadal, it's easy to get ahead of yourself.
